| Lifestyle Concepts UK operators of the Chameleon Bar Lichfield recently commissioned another DARE sound system for their new venue Sofa Sofa – Walsall. With preferred design and build partner Krebensis they turn a run down town centre pub into a modern bar with a 2am license. The budget for the building was £500,000 the quality of the sound was a major issue for the operators. They chose a 3 way system featuring DARE Micro 101 with E18 subs with infill from the DARE Micro 88, the system is controlled by using an XTA digital crossover. The system is powered by SAE amplifiers. This range of American designed amplifiers and processors is exclusively distributed in the UK by Deco Leisure in a joint venture partnership with the manufacturers SAE. Sofa Sofa was the first major installation featuring SAE in the UK after initial rigorous testing at the Ministry of Sound and Hidden in Birmingham. |
